Piccolo Revealed! (Sorta)
Edward French has a scan on his website that shows him putting the makeup on James Masters! Unfortunately we can’t se his face… yet.
Dragonballfilm also received a message from Ed:
“I can say that it was a 4 hour make-up that I applied many times over a month and a half andthat James Marsters was a very pleasant and professional actor to work with. In fact, I enjoyed working with him more than
any actor I’ve applied prosthetic make-up to. He was very patient and enthusastic about playing the role and I admired his work. [...] Publicity pictures were taken for advertising and i’m sure they will release them soon.”

I heard what marsters was wearing was some kind of body mold but I’m still terriefied that it might be his outfit for the movie. I really hope not cause it looks like something out of batman.

at least it sort of RESEMBLES piccolo; even the muscle lines have an air of resemblance.

i think it looks cool. he’ll take that outfit off wen it comes to fighting im sure of it. You can see the ripples in the arms that are in the same place as piccolos red bulge bits. i bet the arms look good

eeh his suit looks like batman at a glance. I’m sure in the next movies, they’ll switch over to his normal suit. this looks alright, kinda gives him a more “dark and evil” feel i suppose..
glad to see pics are popping up frequently now. that’s nice for a change.

Remember: this is Demon King Piccolo. Not Piccolo Jr. I’m sure the latter’s outfit will more closely resemble the source. Think about it: Marsters said that he wanted to bulk up for the next movie. Obviously he wasn’t bulky ENOUGH for this one sooo…. we get a big rubber suit to simulate a muscular build.

Is so painfully obvious that he is just wearing a costume, and that in no way confirms the color of his skin.
I actually love this. Depending on if he wears a hood/turban, whatever, it seems like the evil piccolo likes to keep his unique look (antnae, green skin) under wraps. Very fitting for a mysterious character.
I love how the texture of the sleeves match a nameks skin texture.

Oh you whiny no-nothing sons of mother fucking bitches. If you’re gonna complain about something because you’re such a big fan of it, at least show that you know what the fuck you’re talking about. This movie’s villain is KING PICCOLO, NOT FUCKING PICCOLO JR. THIS ISN’T FUCKING DBZ, ITS DRAGONBALL. When King Piccolo first shows up in DragonBall (notice the absence of the letter ‘Z’, dipshits), he has blue gi on. NO FUCKING CAPE AND TURBAN. If you’re such a big fan that you must complain that he isn’t wearing the gi from the anime in the movie, at least know what the clothes in the fucking anime are. That aside, the suit from them movie has arms that resemble Namekian arms and the torso looks like it could be shirtless. Maybe this is an unpainted body suit that will actually be painted green with pink arms to make Marsters look like Piccolo shirtless, and his proper gi could be worn over it before his shirt comes off. Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t. My point is: we know nothing for sure, so shut the fuck up with your goddamn whining, you little bitches.

Look i actually like the way they approached this. check it out not all the outfits from the show can work for live action. since this is king piccolo when he first show’s up, remember in the cartoon he was wearing a long black outfit that was the exact opposite off kami. That would look prety dame bad for intro this badass alien villain that no body (POINTING AT THE audience ) knows about ecept for fans. We have to introduce him strong, give the audience the feel, that he is this demonic hulk badass that is feared. Like come on y zoom on the pic and look towards the head. And as y can see half like a small section of the neck is exposed…….what do y know its green……

The body armor doesnt really look like Piccolo but I guess it all depends on the face. They said the official pictures should be out soon so lets just hope its real soon!

This is the truth (albeit corrected for grammar). Bummer the face is obscured for now, but I am REALLY liking the outfit. I figured from the get-go they were going to give him something other than a boring, plain-purple gi, but they’ve exceeded my expectations here. It looks very exotic and alien-like, and quite evil. Which is just what “Lord Piccolo” needs.
…And yeah, that’s not his skin, people, that’s his outfit. Wake up and have your brains checked.

Wow I love Piccolo’s suit!! Im guessing if they do a sequal, they’ll give piccolo the original outfit. I mean he is the villain in this movie after all! but Im getting ahead of myself. Well I for one think from a distance from the picture it does look like bad man, I mean the belt thing is yellow lol. But whe you get close to it you can tell his gloves don’t mold into the body suit or has spikes like batmans :p. I think it looks bad ass.

I just think it looks great…Dunno what some of you guys complain about. Just be happy that there will be a movie! The only reason to complain would have been, if FOX never even tried to make this movie. But now they do, so be thankfull and stop questioning everything. In the X-Men movies, none of them wore the original comic outfit and it worked, though.
