Only 5 and a half months until it’s released and we haven’t even gotten a proper teaser yet. I sometimes wonder what was the deal of the original August release date for the movie. I mean, if they can’t even show a proper trailer for it in October(or November) then that means that they were planning to release a pile of crap in August. Scary.

Lovely how this movie isnt being promoted in the US you know…Its really gotten me mad. And it should have had a trailer by now. Promotion is only going on in Japan, only small contests like this are elsewhere, so you’re misguided if you think every country has promotion except for America. They need some completed CGI shots for a trailer, which they havn’t completed yet

The screening would be after the trailer is released, Fox would be stupid if they thought that holding a special screening wouldn’t result in spoilers and leaked material… I’d say we’ll be seeing promotional material very soon

check out the new ong bak movie I hope Dragonball has somewhat a hard gritty fight scenes shown in this new ong bak if need be they could have made a complete copy of the manga/anime for this film watch Apocalypto you can easily make a junkle monkey guy beat the crap out of demons and invading aliens yet I fully support this adaptation….. what a crazy world we all live in.

Eh, I dont think it should be like “Spirit” “Sin City” or “Speed Racer” One of those comic friendly films. Not to say I want Mortal Kombat or DOA or Forbidden Kingdom either.
I want it to be in a league of its own. Realistic in vision, yet colorful and vibrant, but also insanely awesome in fighting style. Not so much the slow mo from Max Payne and Matrix, but more of the Kung Fu hustle insane strength and quickness, but with colorful ki blasts and more flying. I also want closeups when they are in the air.
Long shot? Hope not.

And PhatJoseph, I want the action to be like Forbidden Kingdom with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as well. The story wouldn’t be nearly as important if the action was spectacular to me, not to say the story isn’t important. I do want the story to be have a lot of throwbacks to the original, with a bunch of different references and most of all, in the first round of the tournament, Goku should fight Nam. I’d be all, “holy shit, I’m not the only one who remembers him!!!!”

Wong has Directed mostly R rated movies so far. They won’t let it be R, but it will be an easy pg-13.
I don’t think there’s much reason to worry about that.
