That’s right, the trailer has been officially confirmed for October! Here is what Coming Soon reports:
ComingSoon.net has learned that 20th Century Fox will debut the first trailer for Dragonball in theaters on October 17 with the studio’s video game adaptation Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg, on October 17. We’ll have to wait and see whether Fox will release the trailer online earlier that week.
So there you have it! Less than two months away. . .
IGN has more to add:
The first teaser trailer for the live-action feature film version of Dragonball will reportedly hit theaters in October. A studio source informed IGN that, while Oct. 17 is Fox’s “target date,” nothing is guaranteed until the special effects and requisite approvals are in place.

God, at last! I’ve been waiting for this announcement for… um… FOREVER! So, I’m definitely gonna see this trailer, then the movie when it comes on DVD because my mom’s too cheap to take us to the theatres and my Uncle doesn’t ever feel like it.
But I want to see footage of the fight scenes as well as a look at Piccolo. But don’t bother going to the theatres to watch the trailer. It’ll probably be so hot on the internet that it’ll be shown on Attack of the Show come October 21.

Max Payne is a good target group for Dragonball. Good to know Fox is doing things right. I have a lot of faith in this movie.

i have 2 agree with what the lional guy said.
this film does same every campy 2 me. the whole fart line does make me worry for the film, so does the idea of goku going to school and getting bullied, and then beating them up,that idead have been done to death. i never read the dragonball manga before, but i did watch the cartoon, and unless the trailer or trailers don’t show any good fighting, or anything interresting to me.. i’d probaby just wait and buy it on dvd

Max Payne is rated PG-13, which is what I expect Dragonball’s rating will be. And I wouldn’t be at all surprised since 13 and up was and still is Dragon Ball’s target audience.
