Our friend Daphnée of Dragonball Film received an interesting spoiler about Piccolo from Cloud Strife. If you don’t want to be spoiled don’t keep reading (if it turns out to be true!).
SPOILER
I think everybody remembers how is born Piccolo. Kami-Sama has separated the devil part of himself, and created a sort of evil clone: Piccolo. So in the movie, Piccolo will have a quite similar power. According to Cloud, Piccolo will be able to reveal the dark side of anybody, and to create an evil clone of the people.

Daphnée says she also has a spoiler about Goku that she’ll post in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that. The site also has what may be a few seconds of the teaser trailer. What do you think? Real of fake? Don’t forget to comment below!

Sounds like a plausible, if not confusing, spoiler. Piccolo and Kami have had access to so many weird powers in that tower already.
The teaser could be a fake. That’s an Adobe effect anyone can apply to a logo.

The teaser I’m not so sure, but I think it could be real.
As for the spoiler, it makes a lot of sense. I’m thinking that perhaps it’s a mix of Piccolo’s origin, and the Devilmite Beam. I have a feeling that one part of the story will involve Piccolo making evil clones of the main characters, only to find that goku has no evil half to clone.

Something here just seems a little off.
Mai has the ability to shapeshift, which would basically make her an “evil” clone of what ever she wants.
Now, you have Piccolo who can supposedly create these fullum assassins, AND evil clones?
While I do not question that the source of the spoiler is legit, I’m going to have to speculate that this information is simply a misinterpretation of what they may have witnessed while on the set. To have Mai shapeshift and Piccolo create clones, that’s needlessly repeatative.
Time will tell though.
As for the trailer bit, it doesnt matter if it’s real or not since it doesnt reveal anything.
It is completely worthless.

Actually, I think that the idea of Piccolo being able to take the dark side of anyone would be pretty awesome! It would create hell for goku and his friends, because Goku’s dark side is probably what holds all of the fighting talent.
The teaser’s probably the end of it, but we’ll just have to waait and see. I know that anyone could do it, but I don’t think it’s all that badd, honestly.

Anyway, the spoiler, sounds kind of weird but if it’s true then it’ll probably be something that Piccolo uses during the final battle as a last resort, they’ll have the upper hand on Goku until he gets pissed and yells while unleshing a huge surge of ki, destroying them all at once. At least that’s how I would do it.
As for the “teaser” I think that it could be real. If some random person made it then why not post the entire thing instead of a two sec clip? Honestly, it just looks like something someone took because they couldn’t get the entire thing. Either way, it doesn’t look that bad from what you can actually see.

Has anyone thought that maybe its not pink but that maybe that was the contrast on the cellphone or whatever it was that it was taken on? I know my cell does funny things like that before i let it focus. That looks like someone whipped their phone out at the last second and zoomed up without letting it focus. Give it some slack. No one has said whether its official or not. Wait till we get an official one from FOX then criticize all you want.
As for the piccolo idea… im open to it totally. This is an interpretation, member? Even if its a stupid idea, more then half of all of us will go see it regardless cause were fans… and FOX will get the money anyways. Its sad that some people arent open minded to things.

its fake for cryin out load. someone used the “Dragonball” text from a poster, cut around the text, and added the “SHINE” effect from “TRAPCODE PLUGINS” for “AFTER EFFECTS”. and used the one of the default colour schemes called “MAGIC”, consisting of red organge and pink colours. then animated the center position of the “SHINE” from LEFT to RIght, thats it! no real professional effort was put into this. and the other dots that are around the text r probably residue from a bad cut out in photoshop.

u can notice a large amount of garbage residue above the “D and R”.. this is fake. the perosn who made this would have rendered it out as a movie file, then used a phone cam to record it from his computer screen (hence its large size) and upload it to the world, and cause so much riot!
if it were real, ud also be able to hear some sort of bass or sound effect coming from the text etc.

I’m actually super excited due to this. I mean, Piccolo may not “have” that ability. But this isn’t Piccolo. This is Daimou. So umm…I would much say that he possibly “could” have this ability. It’s not like he used every single one he had.
It’s called interpretation. And I do highly believe that Demon King Piccolo could do that.

I’m going to trust Lebnash1’s judgement on this one. That’s probably how they did it. (The colour appears to be more of a problem with the phone to me.)
However slight the probability, it could be that what Lebnash1 just listed was the exact method used by, not a hoaxer, but Fox. If that’s the case, then the residues at the top of the text that have shine look to me to be smaller text, and the dots look like they’re supposed to be dragonballs. ::Shrugs::
In regards to Piccolo, could it be that he can create an evil clone of the person using his servant Mai? Like McKlyde said, seems a little redundant to have both things going on.

yeah, i think its real. it wasnt as easy as i thought it would be to match the effect. not even sure if they used the same effect i did. it involved alot of tweaking and trial and error. so i think it could be real. but if u remembered the “dark knight” teaser- how the batman logo breaks up from the light etc. that looks PRO!… it has a film feel to it. lol.. anyway who cares really, the trailer’s gonna be out sooner or later. jus be patient..

You and I both know they could of chosen a better goku and piccolo. There already has been names mentioned here such as Wesley Snipes and Tom Welling much more suited for the role. Dragonball getting release in a movie called “space chimps” is a big fail. It should of aired during iron man, hulk, and hopefully dark knight. I will give it a chance and hopefully it gets release during Max Payne.
