UPDATE: JPHongUhu has an update on the Dragonball Teaser from Christina Inman:
The Director of Promotion confirmed to me that the Teaser/Trailer is set to release in Japan within the next two months, i’m not entirely sure which month, but there is definitely a teaser to come.

Isnt Miss Inman in charge of production for DB the movie in Mexico? How would she know anything about US advertising for this movie? Shes been wrong before but i understand why. When she said the japanese poster was fake she was just assuming so becuase she had not seen that in any plans or strategies for the marketing there in mexico….its understandable I just wouldnt trust anything this woman says because she knows nothing about the planning for marketing here in the us. I wish she would just stick to what she knows.. im willing to bet that she doesnt even know when the trailer will be released. Thnks for the news jp been dry lately buddy

well, i actually know abit of this film but not too much, im a big friend of justin… i worked with him on the The Chumscrubber… i wanna see this film, cuz im a dragon ball fan so yesterday i asked him about it, and he told me that this film is already done
but they cant show anything yet cuz all is being colured and mixed, edited, and all of that

Lou as a dragonball fan what can you say about Chatwins detication to the role? Does he know how important it is to alot of fans? How big of a DB fan is Chatwin? Does he plan to get in really good shape for the sequel? Does he think the movie will do well from what he has seen? A while ago in an interview he commented on the movie at a production meeting in durango. He stated while kind of laughing its a kids cartoon and the role of goku is an important one…to me it seemed like he didnt really care about the role and that let me down. Plus it was stated that he went into training sometime before the movie and i just want to know where di all that work go? His body doesnt seem like it changed at all from War of the worlds or The Invisible. Dont get me wrong I think in the looks department he IS goku! But i just think from a fans standpoint we all would like to get a better sense of who this actor is and what this all means to him.

I’m unaware of this “Dragonball”, I’ll have to ask my Sunday School Teacher what it is, and if it’s blasphemist! I’m aware you have some icons at the bottom and I think the ones with the horns is very bad, that is the icon of the Devil! You should take that off as soon as possible, but your site is heavenly! The design reminds me of the texture of the book I follow I love to call the Bible! May God bless you and your site!

Trailers only show before a movie from the same studio. They won’t show the Dragonball teaser before The Dark Knight because it’s from Warner Brothers. The Dragonball teaser will be shown only for movies from Fox.

the dark knight advertised before the simpsons with theyr teaser and that was like 10 months ago…um cloverfield was about 9 months ebfore theyre movie…um transformers advertised a really long time before the movie was out…so its nothing new for a movie to advertise really early, esspecially when its a movie that everyone is gonna wanna see, if they wanna start building hype, they would relase a trailer soon

well it did not come out with Hancock, I went and saw that last night (it was not a very good movie by the way). Yeah I really am not expecting a teaser till late fall or early winter. But im sure we will get tons of pictures and maybe even some clips from the movie before we see a teaser or trailer.

What Miss Inman should do is find a mexican site devoted to the movie and try to help them out with what she knows about the marketing for the movie there in Mexico. Strategies for advertising here are just different from that of Mexico or any other country for that matter. We have already seen evidence for that when the Japanese poster picture surfaced. I believe than she thought it was fake, so basically she makes judgments based on what she knows from the marketing strategies there in Mexico.

One Piece is a very good show, I mean I have Luffy’s jolly roger tattooed on my left arm, but as it is a great anime, it will never reach to be the great anime that is DRAGONBALL Z!!!!!
And again, so I can stay on topic a little, just (hypothetically) because the trailer could be released with Space Chimps doesn’t mean that Dragonball will not be a big-boy/girl movie. I mean it’s not even a full trailer. It’s a teaser. There would be like a clip of Chatwin and a dark clip of Marsters. Some loud obnoxious music and then a big light flashes and it will say “The Dragon Will Rise” or “Your Wish Is Granted” or “See These Big Balls” with set date 04/10/09

James Marsters is playing the part of Lord Piccolo. He is best know I guess as being SPIKE from BtVS, but he was also the voice in Superman: Doomsday as well as a bunch of walk on roles in big budget films.
