has anyone noticed there have been no offical photos of anyone(except Goku, once) who has been shown in there original clothes. What theyre doing to Bulma is like theyve never seen Dragonball, Z, or GT. Im mad that people researching their Characters never said anything.

Its not going to be exactly like DB that we know, it can’t be because if they do it will suck. Anyone thats seen Tranformers and know about the background story will tell you the movie nearly rewrote the entire story to make it fit! did that do anything to hinder the movie? no! people who don’t know anything about Transformers loved it and those who did didn’t care!
I know that many people will come out the cinema saying but thats not what supposed to happen… who cares?! if its good its good! why must we complain about every little detail…?

Um…Isn’t this almost exactly what Bulma is supposed to look like? There are parts in Dragonball where she actually does look like some cool biker chick. They don’t have to give her the exact same clothing and hair as in the anime/manga for her to be Bulma. Besides, her outfit and hairstyle change dozens of times throughout the series anyway.

It’s hard to get a grasp on the actual feel of the movie so far though, because of the shortage in legit pics. It could vary as anything from speed racer to 300.
I reserve my judgement, but if anyone wants to compare movie info…
we know about as much about batman TDK as we did at the end of batman begins… yeah, some here and there… but all hype. This could be a 9 month wait for anything that will help us. Some post production photos would be nice.

sorry for the double, but look at star wars episode 1. most anticipated movie of all time. Everyone thought it looked good. People knew the whole plot, and there were a million spoilers, the trailer was great, then we got hit with Jar-Jar binks…
You just can’t tell. Especially when nothing post production is released.

I just want to say to you nay-sayers on this site.
If you dont like something and go out of your way to show your dis-like, than you probably have no life. Obviously most people on here enjoy Dragonball and the fact that they are making a live action flick.
I have a life, I work 6 days a week for a decent wage, I enjoy the better things in life and I also enjoy comming to this site to talk Dragonball, it’s a passion of mine, you cant seriously say that putting down a movie or other peoples comments is enjoyable or a passion to you people who constantly ridicule.
So if you dont like the concept of a live action flick, why do you continually visit this site to downgrade the movie. Hence my proposition that you obviously dont have lives.

Why? That was my point, I would love for this to be a great movie, I’m a big fan, but what says it will be “ff-ing brilliant”? The fake script? Or the on set snapshots we’ve seen?
I’m just saying that dragonball being good does not equate to this movie being good. A snapshot of a stunt double on a motorcycle is cool… shows us a little… but doesn’t tell us how good the movie is.
And I love how geeks resort to arguing over who works more hours a week to decide who has more of a life…

Personally, i don’t care what details they keep and what they do, because odds are if this movie’s sucessful they’ll go onto making the 2nd and 3rd, and hopefully experiment with more faithful material (i.e. Krillin, perhaps bulma gets a hair colour change :?). I’m gonna go into the cinema and enjoy the spectacle of seeing Dragonball on the big screen, its something we’ve all dreamed of for years

Secondly, they have signed for two (2) sequals. They must have some faith in the film being successfull.

anyway although I feel the bike looks kinda lame in this picture I could see, with the right angles and effects, it looking pretty cool and true to the look of vehicles in dragonaball.

Well another reason im seeing this movie, besides it being an adaptation of one of my fav cartoons, is that i love the actors. Emmy is so cute..and i liked her in day after tomorrow, poseidon and phantom of the opera, and justin chatwin i a sparkling resemblance of Goku and i enjoyed him in the invisible and i guess war of the worlds too. CHOW YUN FAT IS A LEGEND and well yea, cast looks good in my opinion.
EMMY IS LOOKIN HOTTUH! The bikes cool too.

uhhhg…stunt doubles can kill a movie/scene if not done right. Like in the Dukes of Hazzard movie, in the part when they are going around in circles you can see its not them and it kinda kills the scene because it looks so crappy, same thing with Talledega Nights when he was running from the cops on the far away shots you could tell that it wasnt him and also the guy was sitting completely striaght which looked bad. Lets just hope they can pull this one off. T_T for the sake of dragonball

Kay, 5aucy, you really need to look at the earlier posts, because we have more than a fake script and set photos. I agree that you can’t judge a movie by the pics, but at the same time, you are pretty much saying it’s going to suck. The reason you are getting called a little shit is because you are bashing something after saying not to give praise to it and it doesn’t prove anything, other than the fact that you are a little shit. A hypocritical little shit! So what if we have a fake script and set photos. Promotion has already started in Japan, we do have photos of the characters from the movie, we are supposedly getting a teaser soon if Inman finally got her head and her dildo out of her ass, and we even have a couple posters and a release date.
And is it just me, or does this site get more and more like WWIII the closer it gets to release? Just thought I would point that out.

5aucy, we have post-production photos, and at the end of Batman Begins, they didn’t even have any plans for sequels, so we know more than that. It’s called researching your topic before you make an ass out of yourself.

well, this certainly is a bickering fest. What I think is funny is that no matter what the little haters bicker about, they are still going to pay to see the movie. I personally think it will be great, wont know for sure until a trailer is revealed. Im patient though. By the way do not see Hancock if you haven’t already seen it. actually Hancock got decent ratings from the critics, according to yahoo it was either a B- or a C+. Its a decent movie, just dont take it too seriously as a superhero movie, its a good action and comedy flic, something that should hold ya til the Dark Knight comes out.
