Loading ...Weekly Young Jump, Plus Stuntwork
Looks like we have another scan coming soon. This one from Weekly Young Jump which hits Japanese news stands this Thursday. The picture of Goku is the same, just in color this time. There’s a nice new image of Emmy though. Thanks to Dukemon and Sour_Mikan for pointing this out to me.

Random tidbit, but I gained a new appreciation today for how hard Emmy would have worked on Dragonball. I was talking to James Marsters (he plays Piccolo) and he said that it was the hardest job he’d ever had in his life because the stunts were simply so demanding and the director wasn’t letting anybody (including Emmy) fall back on stunt doubles unless it was desperately necessary. I don’t know the extent of Emmy’s stuntwork, but if it’s even half as much as James’ she worked her butt off.

Yeah and it mentions that Weekly Jump or something… not related to Shonen Jump, is doing an article about he movie pretty soon. Pretty cool. Which I could see him in color though.

That is interesting JP.
Good for the movie because we’ll get screen shots of their faces whilst they are fighting or riding motercycles and what not.
Remember a while back we heard Emmy had to ride a motorbike with Roshi (Chow Yun Fat) on the back.
I guess Jason Spidell, César René Vigné, and they other stunt crew are only required for the far out stunts.

The stunt doubles are also used at times to test out the stunt before the actor does.

you see, that paper is the paper I referred to in the thread about Weekly Jump, this one seems more Shueshia style. With all the background stuff, and the glossy paper. Makes me wonder, when or if the other Jumps will follow suit ( V-Jump, Jump Squared,etc), or if Fox will allow Viz’s English Shonen Jump to do an article soon.

i dont think we´ll see a trailer for a very long time, we barely have a picture (great one by the way), thats only out in japan.
