the possibility of a triology is awesome news

anyway.. some of you say things like “they cant condense a whole sage into 1 movie” or similar stuff… they can. take the cell/android saga: 5 minutes clips of “theres future trunks, he tells present goku and friends about the evil future. then they meet the androids (19 and 20. then 16, 17 and 18) and fight them. they cant really beat them, so they train.

10 minutes clips with goku and the other beating 16, 17 and 18. Piccolo meeting Cell. Cell consuming 17 and 18.

that would probably suck.. but they could do it that way.

realistically each saga needs at least 2 movies if the saga has to feel like the anime saga. they need lots of “im stronger now” - “but im still stronger because of my secret technique!” talk also standing/flying around and staring at each other is important!

omg. Alot of ppl dont really know DB here. Akira Tor. wanted to END Dragonball with Frieza, NOOOOTTTT CELLL!!!! Fans demanded more so he created the retarded Garlic Jr filler then came up wit some story relatin to the red ribbon army. Cell saga BLEW!! It completely lost the focus of the dragonballs. Buu was considered by most fans the saga to save Dragonball. Majin vegeta was awesome. Vegeta had returned to his bad ass old self, and he sacrificed himself, for the first time in the history actually being a “good guy”. Gohan goes mystic, SSJ3 appears, we have fusion. Vegeto kicks ass. Only thing kiddish bout buu was fat buu, and he wasn’t center focus for too long. In Cell saga Vegeta had his high points howevers, and Gohan went SSJ2. Piccolo becomes whole again. So it had its points too. However NONE of these sagas comes close to Frieza. Frieza is a shadow from the beginnin of Z on. Durin the sayian saga we find out Goku and piccolo are aliens. We go to Piccolos home planet. He becomes strong wit Nail and fights Frieza. We get Vegeta, an awesome new character. We discover Frieza Killed Goku’s and Vegeta’s fathers and destroyed his home planet. Frieza is a Universal Tyrant, by being a king he has certain type of power and impression superior to cell and Buu. Frieza was the most evil character ever created imo. He’s Brutally hilarious and just pure evil. He doesnt jus kill u, he tortures u and enjoys it. Because he has followers he is able to display evil beyond what cell and buu could by Killin his followers for serving his coffee too hot (and other things as meaningless as that). So lets recap, we have a character whos been a shadow from the start, hes destroyed our main characters(goku/vegeta/piccolo) race and planet, he is the epitimy of Evil, he is the source of Vegetas evil and he kills vegeta(one of the best dbz moments imo). Goku’s brother, discovering the truth behind him, all his training and life seems to lead up to this moment and this fight. As a baby sent to concur earth for Frieza(sayians were employed by frieza). He went against that order and fights the intetgalatic evil, his most tryin fight ever. Krillin is killed, he becomes ssj, sumthin unknown or seen in the manga/show before. Every1’s like wtf?! Everything was sooo much more passionate and deeper back then. If you can see these major facts and emotions you can easily tell THIS is where the show was suppose to end. Akira wanted to end the show with you having NO idea wut happened to Goku. Which is how Frieza ended. Fans demanded more so he gave us cell, again he tried to end it with u not knowing wats goin on wit Goku. Fans demanded more, he gave us buu. He gave us one more ending with Goku leaving wit Uub. Toei created GT. So plz get your facts right about where Akira wanted to end the show, it WAS with Frieza and NOT Cell! Also the Show up until Frieeza was its Glory points, so ending it there would be a good move. The movies will most definately go Piccolo, Sayian, Frieza. Even tho I would LOVE to see Final Flash on the big screen, unless these flixs sell big, i dont see it happening.

The next may introduce the Saiyans, and at the end of the next movie it will introduce Frieza and in the third it will probably just have Frieza… I Cant imagine Wong doing a Cell Movie the whole cell thing is way toooo Long

I just saw IRON MAN and i liked it. Its amazing what they can do with movies these days. So with that said dragonballs special affects should be really good if they are spending a lot of time on it. Everybody go check Iron man out Robert Downey Jr. did a great job and looks like Tony Stark from the cartoon and comics.

they’ll do whatever sagas focus most on the dragon balls. the main problem with the continuation of the series was that they lost focus on what the manga was about in the first place, a quest to find magical balls to make wishes. Once finding dragonballs was as easy as picking up the groceries, what was the point? I hope the movie too keeps the focus where it belongs and less on other stuff.

Yea, I’m pretty sure they wont do buu or cell as the third movie. Cell saga is too long for one movie with all the android and trunks stuff (granted it could be done still) but that would also mean that the saiyan and frieza saga would all be in a single move which would be a really bad idea. If its three, I’m guessing piccolo, then saiyan, then frieza ending with super saiyan Goku
