Eriko Tamura blogged about the non stop-filming taking place in Durango as well as the tough stunts that need to be performed. She also talks about filming at Grandpa Gohans place, and filming scenes that involve Yamcha and Piccolo.

Movieland is now reporting the casting of a baby between 3-6 months for the film. Gohan perhaps? Well, I myself am hoping for it to be baby Goku.

Texas Battle, Shavon Kirksey, and Richard Blake play High School students in Dragonball.

Texas battle plays Carey Fuller, the High School bully who is sort of the “boss of it all”. Shavon Kirksey plays Emi, Chi-Chi’s best friend. Richard Blake plays Agundas. He is described as Carey Fuller’s sidekick, a big football player and a bigger bully. All three actors have wrapped filming.

Shavon Kirksey (Emi), Richard Blake (Agundas), Texas Battle (Carey Fuller), Jamie Chung (Chi-Chi), and Justin Chatwin (Goku).

Movieland posted a lengthly set report from Tuesdays Tournament filming. Here’s a rundown: 

[spoilers]

-Goku was dressed in gray clothes.
-Chi Chi was in a red dress with black prints.
-Mai was in all black.
-The fight that took place was Mai vs. Chi Chi and the choreography did not require any wires.
-Chi Chi wins because Mai leaves the ring.
-Chi Chi embraces Goku after her win and he says “Great job”
-A scene was filmed where Goku sees a hot dog cart and wants one but can’t have one because Chi Chi just won her fight!
