Pre visual effects… Sounds like the intro, or a teaser to me. These people will be ok, Fantastic 4 2 lookes, fantastic. But I was really hoping to see ILM. Oh well, there is always a sequal
And Imagine Engine is still good.

Ok guys i KNOW this has NOTHING to do with the Title of this Post, but i just want to clear this crap up…GOKU INFACT DOES GO TO SCHOOL. In the first episode of DragonBall GT where Goku gets wished by Emperor Pilaf to be a child again ( by accident ) Goku says ” Does this mean I have to go to SCHOOL AGAIN?”……there you….and id be nice of the Mod of this website would let me post this cus people are naggin over dumb stuff like “Goku Didn’t go to school”
Sorry because i was off topic but it had to be said, plus i posted it before but i doubt it ppl where gonna go to an older post

Never said Goku never went to school. I said that he’d rather be outside on adventure rather than at school.

I guess this is a good company, they haven’t done that much in comparison to other companies in the business so far, but you’ve got to start somewhere. They appear to be pretty decent.
And Goku did NOT go to school, please remember that dragonball GT IS NOT CANON, it was not written by Toriyama and is not to be considered ‘official’.

I agree…ILM or Peter Jackson’s group would’ve been a better pick personally. I hope Imagine pulls through

The last post was ridiculous -.-’ No, Goku does not go to school, that in GT was a joke, like many other throughtout the series, and plus it depends on the translation - on the original Japanese anime, did he say that? LOL He didn’t go to school, and specially to hight school -.-’ That’s typical for someone who is desperate to believe the storyline makes sense…
February 17th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
That’s the english dub version, the real japanese version they say something different, for example in the english version where Goku is visiting Piccolo from hell, Goku tells Piccolo that he’s going to get out of hell someday, while the japanese version Goku really tells Piccolo that he thanks him for everthing he’s done in the past.

Just enjoy the movie who cares if hes in school or not. Wasnt wolverine supposed to be in yellow spandex? I dont see you crying over his black outfit. You just got to take it for what it is.

pre-viz is a test version of effects that you will use in te final piece. it will be to block out movements of what the characters will finally be doing in the final result. no real effects will be done untill the film has finished filming, which means a trailer wont be out untill june.

Pre visuals are like a scene test. they use polygons that resemble the person, their height, body size etc. They are untextured and very basic. They are used so that the director can plan the movements, positions etc, without wasting time rendering. Pre visuals are also used in background scenes such as buildings and landscapes, even particles such as a Kamehameha wave. Once they decide on the layout they create a better looking objects and texture it, creating what you will see on screen in August.

Hi Expert, what entice you to post an article on Image Engine? This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Tuesday.
