Dragon Temple
Dragonball Le Film has an interesting update on what is being filmed in the next few days. Beware of mild spoilers!
The news comes from “El Siglo of Durango”.The production is building a macroset, the Temple of the Dragon, which will be the place where SPOILER Bulma, Goku and the others bring the Dragon Ball, and where the hope will be formulated END OF SPOILER. According to a source close to the production, it will be a key moment in the film, a place where “almost all conflicts are resolved, and where the real adventure begins.” The scene will be turned in a few days, once construction of the set will be completed. The wind and rain can be a problem, but for the time being, the shooting happened as in a dream. The people of Durango are apparently cool people!
According to the newspaper, the Temple has a great artistical value. It’s next to a volcano, another key set of the movie. Maybe Nevado de Toluca, where normally scenes have been or will be shooted.

you might want to put the spoiler in white text so you have to highlight it to see it. Just a thought. Pretty cool though. Ernie hudson for Mr Popo!

Temple of the Dragon seems to be Kami’s Lookout, though for reasons unknown, it’s on the ground and not the air.

WE NEED KRILIN/KURIRIN II
the return (sorry)
He must appears in the movie.
Maybe the authors want to give to Yamsha the importance of Kuririn in the manga but it’s a real mistake.
Kuririn was here to show us a shy human, physically not very attractive, someone who laughing about himself , a sort of looser. He was a complex character with human interrogations about his weakness.
However,he was always here to help his friends and surpass himself, his condition.
Indeed an american movie prefers to show us a big hero, a Perfect teenager (for silly teenagers), who have success with women…as yamsha…
Obviously these american won’t never change…
If they don’t add krilin they will make a big bullshit and lots of fan (the major part of the audience in fact) will be disappointed !
I’M READY TO POST THIS TEXT EVERYWHERE BEFORE the “SHOOTING TIME LIMIT”. IT S NOT TOO LATE !!!
If you are agree with me please recopy it (make some changes if you want…)and post it on others web pages about the film .Let’s talk about Krilin on internet and maybe he won’t be forgotten in the movie.
To JEFF :
why are you so optimistic in your comment wrote february 14 ???
To Vivi-from-germany and everybody :
It will be very difficult to reintroduce krilin in a sequel.Characters’s feelings will be too alterated,…So, he must be there.
In top of that , my opinion is clear…If you read my text on Krilin…I’m not talking about a fussy adaptation…I don’t want the authors to recopy Toryama’s storyboard…What I m trying to explain is about the importance of some characters in a work…
There is a state of mind in Dragon Ball which take his inspiration in the european, chinese , japanese and also american culture.Akira Toryama explained that Krilin was created to play a sarcastic human first, but his part and his relation with Goku lead him to do some changes about this character.
Indeed, krilin show us someone typically different from the others characters…He brings lot of sensibility and humanity .He is mixed up but not desperate ,he is weak but not cowardly…Krilin is not an hero, he is not a champion, he is not a seducer, too. He is just an poor human lost in a strange world where he can play his part.
These peculiar, complex characters are the reason of the sucess of lots of movie (Remember Star wars first trilogy and all these charismatic characters.20 years after 50 millions of fan in the world…)
An american production needs these sort of characters today, because the time is now and now!!!and that adaptation needs this singular guy for the spirit of dragon ball.
If as me you are a dragon ball fan, if as me you had a friend at the playtime who recalled you Krilin…
If as me you want a change in the american film-making.If as me you want a change in America!!
IF AS ME YOU WANT TO GO OUT FROM THE THEATRE AT THE END OF THE MOVIE AND SHOUT KAMEHAMEHAAAAAAAAAA WITH A FUCKING SMILE OF VICTORY AND POWER, you’ll understand why Krilin is so important.

February 17th, 2008 at 11:29 am
Krilin. Human race power !!!!
February 17th, 2008 at 12:41 pm
Guys if you were true DB fans you would know Krillin dies in this part of the Lord Piccolo saga, he dies during the end of the tenkachi tournament…….
February 17th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
KURIRIN !!!MUST BE!!! IN THIS MOVIE, in fact he was main character both with Goku at the beginning of Dragon Ball!!
February 17th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
But the film isnt started after the tournament(i think)
February 17th, 2008 at 1:49 pm
Hmm, I’m sort of over the fact that Krillin won’t be in the film. I’m fine as long as it looks pretty. Hopefully there’ll be at least a few little nods to the show, just for the fans to be all, I see what they did there!
February 17th, 2008 at 1:50 pm
It’s hilarious how after every news update, people leave comments with the SAME EXACT gripes.
February 17th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
How could I not be optimistic in my comments on Feb 14th? One of my favorite stories is being converted to live action and is going to be awesome!!!
We don’t see a Zelda movie, or a Thundercats movie, or Voltron, or many other awesome fun shows.
Thats because DB/Z is a great story, and I am excited to see a kamehameha in real fake life, lol.
February 17th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
hmmwould that maube where goku and piccolo fight??
February 17th, 2008 at 3:59 pm

Krillin was not with goku on the begining of dragon ball. krillin appeared for the first time in episode 14.
People please give it up. Krillin will not be in this movie. We lost. By denying it you are only hurting your selves.
February 17th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
So whats the huge Spoiler???
February 17th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
They’re going to use the Kamehameha wave as a surprise. I bet Master Roshi teaches it to Goku in the beginning, and Goku has problems mastering it. But at the final battle between Goku and Piccolo - Goku uses it and defeats him with it.
That would be so bad ass!
February 17th, 2008 at 6:31 pm
And in the end Shao Kahn burst out of the sky and loudly demands the souls of our heros.
February 17th, 2008 at 8:16 pm
