Happy 2008! There are a lot of new movies (and, therefore, a lot of new toys) that we’re looking forward to this year. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Dark Knight (the latest in the Batman franchise), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Star Trek, Dragonball, WALL-E and, of course, High School Musical 3 are all on the list. And, even though it doesn’t come out until 2009, you can get Halo 3 action figures this year (they get officially released in March.) The only toys I will buy are the original Bandai DBZ collectables. The toys and the teaser trailer will determine if this movie is good or not.

VEGETA, get a life please… you sound like your 4, it’s common for a movies to have action figures even video games, especially in a cartoon made into live movie, you say this now but most likely you’ll be first in line to buy one, you’ll even be one of the first to be in line to watch the movie.

Anyway, with mainstream, high-profile action movies, especially ones derived from kids’ shows, there will come toys. That’s how it is. Fortunately for their creators, some of us like the idea and will buy a few.
